Our Mission
Flexible, Personalized High School Education for Every Learner
Our mission is to provide students with a flexible choice for completing their education through a structured learning environment, personalized education plans, computer-based courses, and mastery-based instruction. Students who fulfill all applicable graduation requirements are awarded a high school diploma. We provide an alternative educational pathway for students who need credit recovery, are experiencing poor academic standing, are behind in credits, have previously dropped out, are adjudicated youth, are pregnant or parenting, or face behavioral challenges. We also serve students who want to accelerate their education or who do not feel that a traditional school setting meets their individual needs.
Our Story
A Legacy of Innovation in Alternative Education
ThrivePoint began with a simple but powerful idea: education should never be one-size-fits-all. Founded by Dr. Timothy Smith, ThrivePoint grew from the success of e-Institute, one of Texas's earliest charter schools, and has since expanded across the Southwest to serve students in Arizona, Nevada, Oklahoma, Utah, and Texas.
